Laura Ward Conklin

Co-Founder & Taiwan Staff

Laura Ward Conklin first went to Taiwan in 2016 on a summer-long internship while a student at Simpson University studying cross-cultural studies. She quickly fell in love with Asia and decided to move back in 2018 after finishing her studies. After completing a year-long program in Taiwan working with a cafe ministry and international church, Laura moved to Washington D.C. to work with the Deaf population on the campus of Gallaudet University. She and Nathan then got married in 2021 and worked together in both Taiwan and Indonesia. Laura is passionate about seeing the many groups and individuals often overlooked and under-represented given more of a voice and opportunity to use their unique God-given perspective to shape and impact the world for the better.
